Boarding Kennels

JULIA’S KENNELS

We have thirteen exceptionally spacious kennels all fully walled with some having a view. During the colder months, the underfloor heating system guarantees our guests a cozy nights sleep. During the hot season, massive trees shade the kennelling area, making cool afternoon naps a breeze. All enclosures are fully walled, therefore dogs cannot see each other, limiting noise, resulting in a less stressed environment. Each facility is uniquely crafted, continuing our theme of personal attention.

Exercise and our ‘run’

With 2 secure hectares, we are able to offer our guests individual off-the-lead ‘walks’. This takes care of their exercise needs, leaving them dog-tired, played out and ready for a good nights sleep. Generally, we do not mix our resident dogs, unless mutually beneficial. All dogs are accompanied and supervised on their walks. Apart from the dogs loving it, it also gives us the opportunity to monitor their health and general well being.

DAISY’S KENNELS

We also have ten kennels designed for smaller or less energetic guests.  They are all fully walled, have underfloor heating, and the houses are well-insulated from the elements.

Exercise and our ‘run’

With a completely separate ‘run’, specifically geared for smaller dogs, our Daisy’s offers a safe and enjoyable daily off lead outing.  Generally, we do not mix our resident dogs, unless mutually beneficial. All dogs are accompanied and supervised on their walks. Apart from the dogs loving it, it also gives us the opportunity to monitor their health and general well being.

Food and Feeding
Generally, Pin Oaks Kennels feeds guests twice a day. We prepare all the meals individually, carefully medicate when necessary and supervise throughout the process.

We are happy to feed our guests the food they eat at home. We do however prefer to feed the BARF diet as firstly we feel that it is healthier than processed dry foods and secondly, the dog’s faces are smaller, more compact, and therefore easier to pick up, making the kennels a more hygienic environment.

We stock top quality grain free kibble for the few that do not eat BAR
